This course is introducing the nature of research in natural sciences, most prominently in genetics and bioengineering. All phases
of designing and performing the research, converting obtained data into meaningful results, and result presentation through
scientific articles are covered during the course. This course is explaining how to perform literature review for the purpose of
different types of scientific articles, how to collect primary data, and how to report the results. Also, the basic ethical principles
that are to be applied during the research are discussed. At the end of semester, students are supposed to analyze original scientific
articles and case studies in order to understand the difference. Active student participation and preparation of high quality
presentations are of the highest importance
